Climate finance allows developing countries to undertake mitigation and adaptation projects and programs. Financing is channeled through national, regional and international entities. Financing opportunities include amongst others the private sector, national governments, voluntary carbon market, bi-lateral and multilateral mechanisms, CDM loan scheme, Adaptation Fund, Green Climate Fund, Climate Investment Fund, Carbon Fund, NAMA Facility etc.
